Publication of a catalogue of 100 industrial partnership projects
As a concrete follow up to the technical assistance missions the ADECI has carried out in the first semester of 2010, a catalogue regrouping industrial partnerships offers from the different countries involved in the MedIndustrial partnership initiative (France, Belgium, Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco) has been developed and published online. This online catalogue, supposed to gather some 100 request of partnerships has exceeded the partners expectation, with 193 offers published online so far. All companies involved in the process had been previously thoroughly briefed by the projects partners and their profiles validated by the consortium. Some of these companies will be attending the BtoB meeting that is being organised by the ADECI and its partners in Tunis, from December 12 to 15, 2010. The Invest in Med programme aims at developing sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two rims of the Mediterranean. Funded at 75% by the European Union over the 2008-2011 period, it is implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates economic development organisations (ANIMA, leader of the programme), CCIs (ASCAME, EUROCHAMBRES), and business federations (BUSINESSMED). The members of these networks, as well as their special partners (UNIDO, GTZ, EPA Euroméditerranée, World Bank, etc.), gather a thousand of economic actors - mobilised through pilot initiatives centered on key Mediterranean promising niches. Each year, a hundred operations associate the 27 countries of the European Union and 9 Mediterranean partner countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia.
