Description :

The operating budget for which REI gives a start up help during 6 months after  then the  association finances owing to the contributions of its members.

This fund rising is indispensable for the funds of loan and guaranteed budget. The loan on trust granted to the award winner (Laureate) an important financial leverage and, is inseparable of the human support.

We assist the new association by helping it to put together this fund of loans and guarantee close to the various Mediterranean-European financial (subsidizing) organizations.

 

Expected result :

  • Setting up of a funds-raising of loans which allows to start with 15/20 (75%) of candidates by promotion.
  • Setting up of a guarantee fund appropriate for insuring 12/13 % of fail.

The Invest in Med programme aims at developing sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two rims of the Mediterranean. Funded at 75% by the European Union over the 2008-2011 period, it is implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates economic development organisations (ANIMA, leader of the programme), CCIs (ASCAME, EUROCHAMBRES), and business federations (BUSINESSMED). The members of these networks, as well as their special partners (UNIDO, GTZ, EPA Euroméditerranée, World Bank, etc.), gather a thousand of economic actors - mobilised through pilot initiatives centered on key Mediterranean promising niches.
