The Industrial Partnership trophies have been bestowed by the ADECI on December 16, 2009 to three French enterprises having developed an exemplary collaboration with three Maghreban enterprises. The enterprises were rewarded for establishment of successful technological partnerships in the field of urban water management, the creation of a corporate joint venture for production and export of clementines and the setting of two manufacturing plants for production of sportswear clothing. The couples of selected companies were the following: - ICSE (France)/MEHELEB (Algeria): Partnership agrement in the sector of automative urban water management; - CANAVESE (France) / CABC (Morroco): creation of a joint company for the production and exportation of clementines for Berkane; - POLITEXT (France)/MPC2 (Tunisia): Implementation of 2 industrial plants for the manifacturing of sportswear for professionals. These companies represent a valuable example of balanced and equal partnerships between SMEs from Europe and Mediterranean countries. Partners

The Invest in Med programme aims at developing sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two rims of the Mediterranean. Funded at 75% by the European Union over the 2008-2011 period, it is implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates economic development organisations (ANIMA, leader of the programme), CCIs (ASCAME, EUROCHAMBRES), and business federations (BUSINESSMED). The members of these networks, as well as their special partners (UNIDO, GTZ, EPA Euroméditerranée, World Bank, etc.), gather a thousand of economic actors - mobilised through pilot initiatives centered on key Mediterranean promising niches. Each year, a hundred operations associate the 27 countries of the European Union and 9 Mediterranean partner countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia. www.invest-in-med.eu
