Med Zones Workshop – How to develop sustainable and attractive industrial parks in the Mediterranean ?

The workshop was held for three days in Casablanca.
Thirty people (managers, associations, promotion agency, etc ...) involved in this sharing of experience for the management of business parks Mediterranean. MED Workshops Areas Casablanca were organised around four major events:

§ the project MED Zones and related tools: the first step was the opportunity to present a first version of the structure of the guide and the associated repository ..
Training that resulted from the implementation of the MED Zone guide was organised in two continuous and complementary
§ the first time a half day was dedicated to the presentation and promotion of the guide MED areas to potential users.
§ the second time, lasting two days, was dedicated to training on the services for a sustainable business parks. To allow "dumping" of participants, this training took place on business parks in the territory of the CCIMP.

The Invest in Med programme aims at developing sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two rims of the Mediterranean. Funded at 75% by the European Union over the 2008-2011 period, it is implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates economic development organisations (ANIMA, leader of the programme), CCIs (ASCAME, EUROCHAMBRES), and business federations (BUSINESSMED). The members of these networks, as well as their special partners (UNIDO, GTZ, EPA Euroméditerranée, World Bank, etc.), gather a thousand of economic actors - mobilised through pilot initiatives centered on key Mediterranean promising niches. Each year, a hundred operations associate the 27 countries of the European Union and 9 Mediterranean partner countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia. www.invest-in-med.eu
