MedAcademy - Organising efficient BtoB meetings
20 Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Investment Promotion Agencies' managers from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria have taken part in the MedAcademy Seminar focused on “Organising B to B meetings” in Tunis on 11th and 12th November 2010. Implemented by the Marseille Provence and Tunis CCIs on behalf of ASCAME and for the benefit of MedAlliance members, this Seminar has enable an exchange of expertise on the best means to efficiently implement, manage and monitor BtoB meetings. Testimonials from main business meetings organisers such as FUTURALLIA and ENVIROFOODTED have also been presented, together with different dedicated softwares. This seminar has been so successful that the ASCAME is now planning to organise a second edition in Beirut, during the first semester of 2011. Partners

The Invest in Med programme aims at developing sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two rims of the Mediterranean. Funded at 75% by the European Union over the 2008-2011 period, it is implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates economic development organisations (ANIMA, leader of the programme), CCIs (ASCAME, EUROCHAMBRES), and business federations (BUSINESSMED). The members of these networks, as well as their special partners (UNIDO, GTZ, EPA Euroméditerranée, World Bank, etc.), gather a thousand of economic actors - mobilised through pilot initiatives centered on key Mediterranean promising niches. Each year, a hundred operations associate the 27 countries of the European Union and 9 Mediterranean partner countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia.
