This workshop, will take place on the 14 and 15 October in ALexandria, Egypt during the Second Postal Euromed Conference, a major event mainly geared at the decision making bodies of the Postal Euromed platform. The  main findings from the two opportunity studies conducted under the Novel Postal Euromed initiative will be presented in the form of a workshop and also reflected in certain presentations during the plenaries. Ultimately, the recommendations from both these studies should also serve as a decision making tool in determining the next steps vis-à-vis the roll out of common development projects.
The first study on migrants' money order transfers and new financial postal services will aim to provide us with a better insight of the expectations of the migrant's market, both in the country of origin and destination. The study shall also focus on new financial product and service requirements adapted to this population segment.
The second Opportunity Study referred to as "Euromed Post Corporation", based on macro-economic  regional trends/facts crossed with postal data from the Euromed operators, to present the main perspectives and synergies that could be envisaged between the postal operators of the region through a common vehicule in light of the economies of scale and share of expertise. This would not only benefit to the posts themselves, their customers (B-B & B-C) but also indirectly other companies that play a role in the postal sector.
