Designed around a business approach deeply rooted in the realities of the economic scene, the first edition of Protexpo exhibition, which was held from 1-2, October in Casablanca was welcomed with enthusiasm by institutions, professional associations, Moroccan and foreign economic players who manifested great interest at the announcement of this event.
Protexpo 2009 brought together professionals in the security industry. It exposed a wide range of security-oriented products, solutions, and services. Furthermore, the participation of public and private users highlights the efforts of expanding the audience of the exhibition. .
PROTEXPO has thus become a leading professional hub in Morocco exhibiting key professions in the security industry including: Physical and electronic security- fire safety-industrial and environmental safety- health and safety at work. .
PROTEXPO 2010 is seeking to create a B to B exposition corresponding to the challenges of the sector and which takes into account the diversity and complexity of these professions. .
For our exhibitors and professional visitors alike, the goals of such exhibition are: first, to provide practical solution; second, to expose the latest innovations in the industry; third, to provide an opportunity for exchange and reflection upon issues related to the security of properties and people in Morocco

Targets & objectives
The Invest in Med programme aims at developing sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two rims of the Mediterranean. Funded at 75% by the European Union over the 2008-2011 period, it is implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates economic development organisations (ANIMA, leader of the programme), CCIs (ASCAME, EUROCHAMBRES), and business federations (BUSINESSMED). The members of these networks, as well as their special partners (UNIDO, GTZ, EPA Euroméditerranée, World Bank, etc.), gather a thousand of economic actors - mobilised through pilot initiatives centered on key Mediterranean promising niches. Each year, a hundred operations associate the 27 countries of the European Union and 9 Mediterranean partner countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia. www.invest-in-med.eu
