The Real Estate and Finance Forum

BtoB / exhibition / fair

Lebanon, Beyrouth,
From 04-16-2010 to 04-16-2010

Currently, there are 325 projects under construction in Beirut providing the real estate sector with promising opportunities readily available for developers and investors seeking profit while rewarding investment opportunities are scarce in other markets as a result of the global financial crisis.

In light of this situation, Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group decided to organize, in cooperation with Lebanon’s central bank, the Real Estate and Finance Forum under the patronage of HE Governor Riyad Salame at the Intercontinental Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut on April 16th, 2010. The forum is expected to attract a wide participation from developers, investors, architecture companies, contracting companies, real estate marketing companies, banking leaders and financial groups. It will constitute a major opportunity for highlighting the situation of the Lebanese real estate sector and its tendencies, as well as an occasion to meet with all businesses operating in the sector.

Targets & objectives
The Invest in Med programme aims at developing sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two rims of the Mediterranean. Funded at 75% by the European Union over the 2008-2011 period, it is implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates economic development organisations (ANIMA, leader of the programme), CCIs (ASCAME, EUROCHAMBRES), and business federations (BUSINESSMED). The members of these networks, as well as their special partners (UNIDO, GTZ, EPA Euroméditerranée, World Bank, etc.), gather a thousand of economic actors - mobilised through pilot initiatives centered on key Mediterranean promising niches. Each year, a hundred operations associate the 27 countries of the European Union and 9 Mediterranean partner countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia. www.invest-in-med.eu
