This operation named "Value chain of Textile for technical applications in the Mediterranean" aims at implementation of survey regrouping and structuring all the data collected through all other project operations:

  • Working of on the value chain of Textile for technical applications,
  • Description of segments of principal & support value chains, description of final markets and trends, analysis of regional and national specializations
  • Mapping of actors through the value chain of textile for technical applications
  • Research of match-making opportunities, analysis of data on global, national and Euro Med markets

The data structured in the TexTechMed survey will include business cases of BtoB, RtoB and BtoI partnerships. It will also present illustrations of cross sector partnerships with Biotechnologies, Construction, ICT, etc.

 

The results of this operation will be diffused on the project Web platform (http://www.textechmed.eu/) and consortium partners' web sites. The survey will be published in Invest In Med and ANIMA survey format.

The Invest in Med programme aims at developing sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two rims of the Mediterranean. Funded at 75% by the European Union over the 2008-2011 period, it is implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates economic development organisations (ANIMA, leader of the programme), CCIs (ASCAME, EUROCHAMBRES), and business federations (BUSINESSMED). The members of these networks, as well as their special partners (UNIDO, GTZ, EPA Euroméditerranée, World Bank, etc.), gather a thousand of economic actors - mobilised through pilot initiatives centered on key Mediterranean promising niches. Each year, a hundred operations associate the 27 countries of the European Union and 9 Mediterranean partner countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia. www.invest-in-med.eu
