The economic intelligence team ANIMA-Invest in Med carries out a permanent survey on the businesses environment in the Mediterranean, from more than one hundred of sources: national and international press, bulletins, Web, data bases. It incorporates and publishes nearly about thirty current events per week.

The observatory of the foreign investments (FDI) ANIMA-Invest in Med allows you to search by country, sectors or key word all the foreign direct investments projects recorded in the Mediterranean southern countries since 2003.

Our guide "The Mediterranean Investment Map" aims at providing national and foreign investors targetign the nine southern Mediterranean countries which benefit from the Invest in Med programme, an operational tool to help them in answering the following questions :

• What are the countries which favour the development of enterprises in my domain? 
• What are the regions in which my activities can develop? What are the infrastructures, the activity and economic zones in which I am likely to find partners, sub-contractors, competitors?
• What are the facilitating policies which target companies of my like? Who do I contact to benefit from these policies?

The users of this guide can choose between three gates to access the information: i) country maps offering an overview on the main infrastructures and activity zones on which the economic development is developing, ii) a set of fiches for each country on its industrial strategy, its position vis a vis foreign investment, its major business sectors by region and iii) for the 14 major priority business sectors for the Mediterranean countries, the list of countries in which this demain is already strong, or supported by national policies, with country fiches to detail the context, the major players, the business opportunities and useful contacts.
